The Jiwa Therapy logo illustrates the potential of every soul for growth and greater wholeness. Jiwa is the Indonesian word for soul, and bamboo which is endemic to Indonesia, is a symbol of longevity, durability, strength, flexibility, and resilience. It survives in the harshest conditions, still standing tall and staying green year-round. When the storms of life come, people like bamboo, bend with the winds but do not break. Bamboo illustrates the patience, faith, perseverance, growth and development of every individual. No matter what life brings or whether you need support for grief, depression, anxiety or trauma, Jiwa Therapy can be your safe place to work through life challenges, and I am ready to walk alongside you to help you find your path to healing and greater wholeness.

I have 15 years of cross-cultural experience having lived in Indonesia, and working with people from other cultures locally. This has given me a deeper understanding of and respect for cultural differences and the importance of sensitivity and communication to promote well-being. In addition, I have been trained in and employ a number of therapies that have been effective tools in helping my clients on their journey to health and healing.
About Me.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with a passion for fostering healing and growth. With a trauma-informed background and over a decade of living abroad, I bring a unique and culturally rich perspective to the world of mental health.
My journey began as a WorldVenture missionary, where I spent the last 15 years immersed in the vibrant culture of Indonesia. Fluent in the Indonesian language, I developed a deep understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity and communication in promoting well-being. This multicultural experience has greatly influenced my approach to counseling, emphasizing the beauty of and respect for diverse backgrounds.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their healing journey. I understand the profound impact of trauma on mental health and utilize evidence-based practices to guide clients toward resilience and empowerment.
In addition to my international experience, I have a strong foundation in community mental health. I believe in the power of embracing cultural diversity, and I am dedicated to providing counseling services that are inclusive and culturally competent. My goal is to help clients navigate the challenges they face while honoring and respecting their unique cultural backgrounds.
Whether you are dealing with trauma, adjusting to a new culture, or seeking support for a range of mental health concerns, I am here to walk alongside you. Let's embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth together.
